As you know, classes are cancelled for today due to hazardous weather conditions.

I have posted slide shows (in Powerpoint and PDF formats) that cover what would have been today's class material (Parameter Setting and analysis of the first couple of Workbook 1.1 sentences).

Please

(1) go through the material with the posted handouts before class on Friday and

(2) do a first pass on the rest of the sentences in 1.1 of the Workbook Section of Chapter 1 and turn it into the class dropbox before class on Friday.
